Private Equity Investor Product Strategy, Associate | Blackstone

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Blackstone, located in the US. Blackstone is the world’s largest alternative asset manager, a $1.1 trillion organization focused on creating positive economic impact and long-term value for investors, companies, and communities globally. This Associate position is crucial for supporting the Private Equity business by developing essential investor-facing materials and analyses. The role ensures accurate financial reporting and compelling content that underpins the firm’s investor relations and fundraising efforts for both prospective and current investors.

• Mission: This person owns the financial analysis, investor reporting, and development of investor-facing deliverables and performance data to support the marketing and content needs for Private Equity funds.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Reporting: Prepare and analyze detailed investment reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial insights to investors, and collaborate with internal finance teams for data-driven support.
• Marketing Material Preparation: Assist with the creation and review of marketing and fundraising materials, including roadshow presentations, pitch books, talking points, and performance memos.
• Due Diligence Coordination: Coordinate with the fundraising team, deal team, and other functional groups to collate and review investor/distributor due diligence requests and respond to investor queries.
• Performance Analysis: Coordinate the collection and analysis of performance metrics for funds and underlying companies, and assist in preparing bespoke fund performance analyses.
• Senior Management Support: Draft presentations and analyses, such as marketing/fundraising updates and deal books, for senior management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a content creation related role within finance, investor reporting, transaction services, investment operations, or consulting.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, and high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: A strong record of academic achievement and/or professional accomplishment, combined with a strong work ethic, a dynamic team player mindset, and a highly motivated, results-oriented approach.
