We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Intern to join our dynamic and growing team. You will be immersed in critical aspects of the investment lifecycle, including in-depth financial analysis, strategic deal sourcing, rigorous due diligence, innovative investment structuring, and proactive portfolio management.
This role is meticulously designed to provide practical learning in a professional, supportive environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws, including Sections 44-47 of the UK National Minimum Wage Act 1998 and the US Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Key Responsibilities:
As a Private Equity Intern, you will have an exceptional opportunity to shadow, learn from, and actively assist our experienced private equity team across a broad spectrum of activities:
- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Actively assist in developing robust financial models, conducting precise company valuations, and assessing investment performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Market Research & Deal Sourcing: Contribute to identifying promising investment opportunities, meticulously analyzing prevailing industry trends, and thoroughly evaluating market conditions to build a strong pipeline.
- Due Diligence: Provide crucial support to the due diligence process by conducting in-depth company analysis, meticulously reviewing financial statements, and comprehensively assessing potential risk factors.
- Investment Memoranda & Pitch Decks: Collaborate in the preparation of compelling investment proposals, impactful presentations, and clear investor reports that articulate our investment theses.
- Portfolio Management Support: Assist in tracking the performance of our diverse portfolio companies and actively contribute to identifying and implementing strategies for maximum value creation.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Support essential capital-raising activities, diligently manage investor databases, and prepare professional investor communication materials.
- Transaction Structuring: Gain valuable exposure to the intricacies of equity investments, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), debt financing mechanisms, and strategic exit strategies.
- Operational & Administrative Support: Facilitate the smooth operation of the team by coordinating meetings, maintaining meticulous investment documentation, and assisting with various reporting requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated strong interest in private equity, investment strategies, and financial markets.
- Possesses excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive learning attitude.
