Position Title: Private Equity Business Development Intern – Wellness & Education Focus

Location: Remote

Duration: 10–12 weeks / Summer

Commitment: Part-time (10–15 hours/week)

Reports To: Director of Business Development

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated undergraduate student — particularly rising sophomore or junior — to join our team as a Business Development Summer Intern. This is an unpaid, learning-focused internship designed to offer exposure to private equity fundamentals, business development strategy, and market analysis, with a particular lens on the growing wellness and education sectors.

What You’ll Learn:

• How private equity firms source, evaluate, and engage with investment opportunities
• Key trends and business models shaping the wellness and education industries
• Real-world tools used in market research, CRM tracking, and investment analysis
• Insight into how mission-driven capital partners support business growth
• Communication and outreach strategies for early-stage deal development

Key Responsibilities:

• Research emerging trends, companies, and competitors within wellness and education
• Help identify and profile potential acquisition or investment targets
• Support outreach initiatives to founders, operators, and intermediaries
• Maintain CRM systems and track outreach progress
• Review and summarize investor materials such as pitch decks and company overviews
• Assist with internal reporting and presentation preparation

Ideal Candidate:

• Rising undergraduate sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics with strong academic credentials
• Strong curiosity about business, startups, and investing
• Organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven with the ability to think critically
• Self-directed, doesn’t need to be asked to actively participate
• Outstanding writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of CRM and Marketing outreach software a plus
