The Tone:
This is a hybrid full-time role for a Private Equity Associate, located in Montgomery County, PA, working for Atlantic Group’s client. Atlantic Group is a recruitment firm sourcing for a client that supports healthcare-focused investment. This role is crucial for evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, monitoring portfolio companies, and contributing to value creation initiatives across the full investment lifecycle. The position offers significant exposure to investment activities from sourcing through portfolio management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Analysis: Evaluate healthcare investment opportunities through financial analysis, valuation assessments, market research, and operational due diligence.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex operating models, returns analyses, valuation models, and transaction underwriting materials.
• Transaction Execution: Support acquisitions, due diligence processes, investment committee materials, and transaction execution activities.
• Portfolio Management: Assist with portfolio company monitoring, performance analysis, strategic initiatives, and interactions with executive management teams.
• Investment Reporting: Prepare investment memoranda, valuation analyses, investor communications, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required, typically for an Officer-level career in private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory.
• Experience: Prior experience in private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory is required, specifically with exposure to the healthcare industry, including healthcare services, healthcare technology, provider organizations, or life sciences sectors.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and investment presentation development; strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
