The Tone:

This position is central to maintaining robust privacy and data protection across all operations and products. It requires integrating privacy-by-design principles and ensuring strict compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic privacy advice to cross-functional teams, integrating privacy-by-design and translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify privacy risks and opportunities, contributing to privacy-compliant tool development and championing continuous improvement.
• Legal Compliance: Manage all privacy-related legal work, drafting and reviewing documents like DPAs, privacy policies, LIAs, and DPIAs to ensure strict regulatory compliance.
• Audit & Liaison: Conduct internal and external privacy audits and oversee relationships with external consultants and legal advisors, coordinating cross-functional inputs.
• Regulatory Insight: Continuously monitor evolving privacy regulations, case law, and industry best practices, communicating insights to ensure company-wide compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Demonstrated expertise in privacy and data protection practices, applicable across various operational and product contexts.
• Experience: Practical experience in strategic privacy advising, proactive risk management, and managing privacy-related legal documentation and audits.
• Skills: Complex problem-solving, privacy-by-design implementation, legal document drafting (DPAs, LIAs, DPIAs), regulatory compliance, English proficiency.
• Bonus: Currently pursuing or completing a legal traineeship, with flexibility to wait for completion.
