20th Television is a prominent television studio under the Disney Television banner. They produce shows for six major networks (FX, Hulu, Freeform, ABC, Nat Geo, Disney+), as well as other platforms. Their programming includes a wide range of successful series such as *Abbott Elementary*, *Only Murders in the Building*, *Nobody Wants This*, *Doctor Odyssey*, *High Potential*, and *American Horror Story*. Job Description:

This internship is within the President’s office at 20th Television, supporting the President, Chief of Staff, and Executive Assistant. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring the President is well-prepared for all aspects of her role. Responsibilities include:

Administrative Support: This encompasses a variety of tasks such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, organizing materials for daily review (scripts, reports, etc.), and managing the President’s calendar.
Logistical Support: Researching and compiling information related to travel and other business needs.
Database Management: Maintaining and updating databases, including Airtable, contact lists, and distribution lists.
Script Review: Reading incoming scripts and providing constructive feedback.
Meeting Support: Attending team meetings and taking notes.
Shadowing: Observing and learning from the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant, gaining insight into various departmental functions and broader business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Demonstrated interest in 20th Television’s programming and the broader television landscape (including knowledge of current popular series and major platforms/networks).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the entertainment industry or a desire to grow within it (e.g., creative development).
• Previous experience with script coverage.
• Experience using Airtable.
• Familiarity with editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere).

Education Requirements:

• Enrollment in an accredited college/university (taking at least one class during the semester/quarter prior to the internship), OR recent graduation within six months of application, OR current participation in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Senior year students or recent graduates (within 6 months) are preferred.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must not have completed one year of continuous employment in a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information:

• Reliable work schedule is mandatory (Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm PT).
• Intern must secure their own housing in the Los Angeles, CA area.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Pay rate is $22.00 per hour (California). Select benefits may be available.
• Internship dates are approximately January 2025 through June 2025.
