What You’ll Actually Do
• Information Security & Compliance: Rigorously ensure the confidentiality and security of all sensitive information, critical documentation, and assigned records. This involves strict adherence to Company policies, as well as local, State, and Federal guidelines, including comprehensive HIPAA and PHI regulations, to maintain patient trust and legal compliance.
• Pharmacy Operations Support: Actively contribute to the efficient functioning of the pharmacy by assisting with the comprehensive processing of both prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases, which is integral to the safe and timely delivery of pharmacy products.
• Patient Engagement & Guidance: Deliver direct and empathetic patient care by effectively recognizing individual patient needs, conducting thorough assessments, and skillfully helping patients navigate various clinical therapies to optimize their health outcomes and wellbeing within the community.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Responsibly receive and accurately stock incoming merchandise and essential supplies from various distribution centers and external suppliers. This ensures the pharmacy is always well-equipped and maintains an energetic and fully operational environment.
• Area Maintenance & Organization: Proactively manage pharmacy inventory levels through diligent tracking and ensure the consistent upkeep and organization of the entire pharmacy area, contributing to both operational efficiency and a professional setting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school, demonstrating a commitment to advanced studies in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in the foundational principles of pharmaceutical care and a proven capability for implementing industry best practices within a pharmacy setting.
• Skills: Possess an excellent ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships with both customers and the broader pharmacy team; exhibit a distinct capability to cater to individual patient needs with a personalized approach; demonstrate unwavering commitment to strictly following all HIPAA and PHI guidelines; and show enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events that promote public health.
• Bonus: Hold a Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
