Compensation:

• The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 – $28.00, with the actual rate meeting or exceeding the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
• Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
• Certain positions may also receive Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) compensation based on location.

Job Description: Pre-Grad Intern (Walmart Pharmacy)

Position Summary

This role offers an opportunity to be at the forefront of patient care within a dynamic pharmacy team. As a Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in an energetic environment, focusing on learning and improving customer health and wellness, and advocating for patient well-being in a community pharmacy setting. You will contribute significantly to the pharmacy team’s goals and the company’s success.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

As a Pre-Grad Intern, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in strict adherence to Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines (e.g., HIPAA and PHI).
• Assisting with the processing of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Delivering patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receiving and stocking merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, and maintaining the pharmacy area and inventory.
• Participating in community activities, outreach, and events, advocating for patient well-being.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.

Preferred Qualifications

Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
