CliquePrize® is an iPhone mobile application designed to help local brick & mortar small businesses, referred to as “Sponsors,” grow. The app facilitates this growth through giveaways and other interactive promotions. Its primary function is to capture leads (including name, email, mobile, and zip code) from users who enter giveaways with a single click. These leads then enable small businesses to expand by offering various promotions such as offers, coupons, and specials.
Job Description:
As a PR Intern at CliquePrize®, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at promoting the app and its benefits to small businesses.
What You’ll Do:
• Build a comprehensive media list focusing on local and niche press outlets that cover industries relevant to CliquePrize®’s core categories.
• Draft compelling media pitches that highlight how small businesses are successfully utilizing giveaways as an alternative to paid advertisements, with the goal of generating local leads.
• Actively pitch these stories to various platforms including blogs, small business podcasts, local newspapers, and small business trade publications.
• Systematically track outreach results and provide weekly reports on your progress.
• Develop concise success stories based on real-world use case examples, with assistance provided for the underlying data and “math.”
• Assist with the formatting of press releases and contribute to occasional LinkedIn and email copy.
• Utilize social listening tools such as TweetDeck, and monitor online communities like Facebook groups, WhatsApp, Quora, and Reddit, to identify and respond to Small Business Owners seeking solutions for cash flow and growth challenges.
