Position Overview:

Famease Media is actively seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and outgoing PR Event Outreach Intern to join our remote team for a comprehensive 6-month internship. This unique opportunity is perfectly suited for individuals with a strong passion for public relations, entertainment, and live events, coupled with an eagerness to develop exceptional pitching and relationship-building skills. The intern will assume a hands-on and crucial role in directly engaging with key industry contacts to secure exclusive red carpet access, premiere invitations, and event coverage opportunities for both Famease Media and our distinguished roster of represented clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitch and Secure Access: Proactively pitch Famease Media and represented clients to PR teams, brands, and event organizers to secure coveted red carpet, premiere, and exclusive event coverage opportunities.
  • Craft Compelling Outreach: Draft and send highly tailored outreach emails and professional follow-ups designed to capture attention and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Conduct Strategic Research: Diligently research and identify upcoming entertainment, fashion, music, and industry-specific events that align with our coverage goals.
  • Manage and Track Efforts: Maintain meticulous records of all outreach efforts, responses received, RSVPs, and final confirmations using organized tracking systems.
  • Assist with Logistics: Provide essential support in the coordination of event details and coverage logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Support post-event follow-ups and actively engage in relationship management to foster lasting partnerships with industry contacts.

Requirements:

  • Academic Background: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Public Relations, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or a closely related program.
  • Exceptional Communication: Possess strong written communication skills, with a particular aptitude for persuasive pitching.
  • Industry Enthusiasm: Demonstrate a genuine interest in PR, the entertainment industry, media, and live events.
  • Outreach Confidence: Comfortable with initiating outreach, conducting consistent follow-ups, and building professional relationships.
  • Organizational Excellence: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of efficiently managing multiple pitches and tasks simultaneously.
  • Independent Work Ethic: A self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote professional setting.
  • Pop Culture Savvy (Plus): Familiarity with current pop culture trends, red carpet events, and the broader entertainment landscape is a distinct advantage.
