Power Delivery Engineering Intern | HDR

This is an internship at HDR, located in Bismarck, ND or Rapid City, SD. This role supports the Power Delivery team by providing engineering services for a variety of projects, contributing to positive change in communities globally.

• Mission: Assist Power Delivery team members with providing engineering services for large- and small-scale projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design Support: Assist in preparing design packages.
• Technical Analysis: Perform simple calculations.
• Collaboration: Attend internal meetings.
• Fieldwork: Participate in field assignments.
• Project Execution: Follow direction effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Skills: Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, basic Microsoft Office skills, commitment to being an active participant of HDR’s employee-owned culture.
• Bonus: 2 years completed toward degree, 3.0+ GPA, demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry.
