Portfolio Implementation Intern (Summer 2027) | Corient
The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at Corient, located in Chicago or Dallas. Corient is a wealth management platform dedicated to helping high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families enjoy a full life, preserve their wealth for future generations, and provide for their communities. This role is crucial for supporting the broader Portfolio Management Team, contributing to the adoption of Corient’s centralized investment platform, and ultimately achieving optimal investment outcomes for clients. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support the broader Portfolio Management Team in driving adoption of the centralized Corient Investment Platform to achieve optimal investment outcomes for clients.
• Exposure: Gain exposure to all facets of the Traditional and Alternative investments teams and their products/solutions.
• Acumen: Build investment acumen and knowledge base of Corient’s suite of solutions.
• Analysis: Assist with running data analytics on various investment strategies and analyzing client portfolios to run transition plans.
• Materials: Assist with the creation of marketing materials related to client and advisor education of the centralized Corient Investment Platform.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, must be a rising senior by the summer of 2027, currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated coursework or experience in finance, economics, or mathematics.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, effective communication (both verbal and written), ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software is a plus; previous internship, work, or classwork experience in finance or a related field is preferred.
