Pop-up & Events Manager | Cherry Coffee Company
The Tone:
This is a hands-on, full-time role at Cherry Coffee Company, located in Fort Worth, TX. Cherry Coffee Company oversees two distinct brands, Novel Coffee Roasters and Cherry Coffee, and is at a pivotal moment of growth. This role is crucial for leading Cherry Coffee’s new mobile coffee shop division, Blossom, transforming it into a standalone division with its own team and budget. As the Pop-up & Events Manager, you will fully own Blossom’s operations, from initial sales to event execution and vehicle maintenance, driving significant revenue and increasing brand awareness to elevate moments, people, and places through coffee.

• Team: Reports to the Cafe Director, operating day-to-day as the leader of catering operations.
• Mission: Owns the entire mobile coffee shop operation, Blossom, from sales generation and event execution to inventory management and vehicle maintenance, with the purpose of elevating moments, people, and places through coffee and growing Blossom into its own division.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Development: Proactively generate new catering and pop-up business through outbound outreach, networking, and community presence, especially during weeks without booked events, while promptly responding to all inbound leads.
• Contract & Pricing Management: Build and quote pricing for event packages, negotiate terms, and directly sign client contracts, coordinating with the Marketing Manager on promotional efforts and owning all lead follow-up.
• Event Planning & Execution: Plan comprehensive logistics for every event, including menu coordination, timing, staffing requirements, equipment setup, and breakdown, personally driving Blossom to and from all locations.
• Operational Coordination: Coordinate with internal Inventory/Ordering, Coffee, and Specialty Drink Leads to ensure all supplies are prepared, identify staffing needs for larger events with at least 30 days’ notice, and collect client payments via card or invoice.
• Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain Blossom and all associated equipment in clean, safe, and working condition before, during, and after events, tracking costs, handling minor repairs, and escalating major issues to the Cafe Director.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a background in program or business development from the ground up, coupled with at least two years of coffee experience, preferably in specialty coffee, demonstrating comfort in discussing sourcing, brewing methods, and quality.
• Experience: Prior management experience is essential, along with a clean driving record and the physical capability to lift and move 50 lbs, handling setup and breakdown in varied conditions.
• Skills: Core skills include sales and business development, detailed event planning and execution, inventory and staffing coordination, equipment maintenance, holding a valid driver’s license, and maintaining a food manager’s license.
