This job posting is for the Strategic Student Program (SSP) at Siemens Digital Industries Software, specifically for a Polarion Solution Engineering Intern.
Strategic Student Program (SSP) Overview:
Siemens Digital Industries Software is actively recruiting co-ops and interns for its Fall 2025 Strategic Student Program. Baseline Program Requirements:
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.
• Ability to work in a fully remote environment on a part-time basis, committing at least 20-25 hours per week, between August 25 and December 5.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0.

Position Overview: Polarion Solution Engineering Intern
The company is seeking a motivated Polarion Solution Engineering Intern to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Moving Polarion to Standards: This involves developing product management process knowledge, tool knowledge, and IT skills.
• Working with PD & Other Polarion Tool Users for Integration Understanding: Requires a grasp of PM process knowledge, business process skills, and tool knowledge.
• Polarion Standardization for Strategist: Understanding the scope and breadth of the Auto and Aerospace markets, PM process knowledge, engineering overviews, and general business skills are essential.
• Loading Content from 2506 into Level 0 and Level 1: This task helps update formats and requires basic engineering skills (PLM, systems engineering, core engineering functions), an overview of tools and processes, and tool knowledge (including basic CAD knowledge, SE Overview, Specialty Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Support Engineering, and Program Management basic skills).
Requirements for the Position:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Highly desirable: Hands-on experience implementing and integrating solutions in complex environments.
• Experience with agile methodologies and Polarion.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, strong customer interaction and presentation skills, and a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. The actual compensation offered will be based on the successful candidate’s work location, degree type, and relevant education.
