Players’ Club Representative / Guest Services Specialist

Job Summary

The Players’ Club Representative is responsible for driving customer retention and loyalty through direct contact, direct mail, telemarketing, and written correspondence. This role actively recruits new memberships for the Players’ Club, aims to increase rated play among guests, and provides exceptional service to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with customers to actively promote and build strong customer loyalty.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all customer questions, inquiries, concerns, requests, and needs, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit new players through a variety of direct sales activities, including managing direct mail campaigns, conducting telemarketing calls, securing referrals, engaging in guest visitation, and participating in both on-site and off-site events.
  • Assist Casino Hosts with various Player Development activities, including facilitating hotel and restaurant reservations, and securing special event reservations for VIP guests.
  • Issue complimentary services (comps) to eligible players strictly based on established comping guidelines and policies.
  • Complete essential administrative forms such as room reservation forms, credit applications, and VIP service forms as required.
  • Ensure guests are well-informed about upcoming events and actively represent the company at various functions and special events to enhance guest engagement.
  • Assist with and participate in marketing events as needed, focusing on developing strong one-on-one relationships to cultivate and reinforce guest loyalty.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support overall casino operations and guest services.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: One to two years of proven experience in a customer service role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Availability: Must be flexible in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, database management, presentation software, e-mail, and player tracking systems.
  • Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
