This is a full-time Assistant Physical Distribution Manager role at L’Oreal, located in Singapore. What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing physical distribution team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure the seamless flow of goods, maximizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction across the supply chain.
• Network Development: Develop and implement a sustainable, cost-effective, and agile fulfillment network, designing both short-term and long-term solutions to meet budgetary objectives.
• Process Optimization: Continuously analyze warehousing, transportation, and customs processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for cost optimization, lead-time reduction, and environmental impact minimization.
• Financial Management: Define and manage the Capex and Opex budgets, ensuring resources are appropriately sized and operations comply with S-SHE&Q standards, L’Oréal policies, and business continuity management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field. This is an Assistant Manager level role focused on physical distribution.
• Experience: Proven experience in the Physical Distribution, Warehouse, Transport, and/or eCommerce sector, including managing operations and implementing process improvements.
• Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Excel for data-driven decision-making. Includes strong decision-making, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, along with a solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems and the ability to lead staff effectively.
• Bonus: Knowledge of forecasting and quantitative techniques to inform decision-making in supply chain operations.
