What You’ll Actually Do
• Supervision: Perform all assigned pharmacy duties and tasks under the direct and comprehensive supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
• Prescription Fulfillment: Take all necessary steps to accurately fill prescriptions, ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
• Patient Consultation: Offer professional advice and consultation to both customers and healthcare professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and various health-related products and concerns.
• Profitability Initiatives: Actively implement company-wide initiatives designed to increase pharmacy profitability and support overall business growth.
• Clinical Services: Participate extensively in clinical services, focusing on patient counseling, over-the-counter medication guidance, administering immunizations and vaccinations, medication therapy management (MTM), point-of-care testing, and disease state management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be actively enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited professional school of pharmacy, pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Experience: Required to hold a valid state intern license, if applicable and mandated by the state of employment.
• Skills:
• Demonstrate a strong ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in work schedules, specifications, and priorities in response to business and customer demands.
• Possess excellent cooperation skills and a proven ability to work effectively as an integral part of a pharmacy team.
• Exhibit foundational knowledge and a keen interest in patient counseling, customer service, over-the-counter medications, immunizations, and disease state management.
