Pest Control Technician | Viking Pest Control

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Viking Pest Control, located in person, servicing the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland areas. Viking Pest Control is dedicated to providing reliable and modern pest control services through prevention, new technology, and sustainable solutions, creating healthy environments for individuals and businesses. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be a vital link between the company and its clients, directly solving community members’ pest challenges and protecting homes and businesses.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift, weekends as needed
• Location: In person (servicing NJ, PA, DE, MD regions)
• Mission: To diagnose and resolve pest and rodent problems, protect properties, and build lasting client relationships.
• Tech Stack: Computers, smartphones

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a direct representative of Viking Pest Control to clients.
• Diagnose and effectively solve existing pest and rodent infestations in residential and commercial properties.
• Recommend specific corrective actions and preventative measures to clients to avoid future pest issues.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through reliable service and clear communication.
• Protect homes and businesses from various pests, contributing to healthier living and working environments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level career with a dedication to problem-solving, safety, and client support.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable personal transportation are required; no prior pest control experience is needed as comprehensive hands-on training is provided.
• Skills: Pest and rodent problem diagnosis, client communication and relationship building, safety protocol adherence, outdoor fieldwork, and basic digital tool operation.
• Bonus: High school degree or equivalent is preferred.
