This is a full-time role at a prestigious, high-volume personal injury litigation firm, with openings in Uniondale, NY, Northern New Jersey, and potential for remote work for exceptional candidates. The firm is known for its aggressive advocacy and significant settlements. This position is critical to managing the full lifecycle of plaintiff personal injury cases. Professionals in this role play a direct part in helping injured clients secure justice and financial recovery.

• Mission: Own the full lifecycle of plaintiff personal injury cases, from intake through litigation and resolution, driving cases forward for injured clients.
• Tech Stack: SmartAdvocate, Filevine, Needles, or similar case management systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• File Management: Independently manage a robust caseload of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and catastrophic injury matters from beginning to end.
• Discovery & Development: Draft, serve, and respond to Interrogatories, Requests for Production, and Requests for Admissions, proactively ensuring all necessary records are collected.
• Medical Coordination: Review and summarize medical records, coordinating with healthcare providers and clients to ensure files are fully developed for negotiation or trial.
• Litigation Support: Prepare Summonses and Complaints, manage court filings and deadlines, and coordinate depositions, IMEs, hearings, and trial preparation for attorneys.
• Lien Resolution: Assist with the management of Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, and private insurance liens to support settlement and disbursement processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Professionals with a strong understanding of the full lifecycle of a plaintiff personal injury case, from initial intake through litigation and resolution.
• Experience: 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
• Skills: End-to-end file management, discovery, medical records review and summarization, litigation support, lien resolution, and proficiency with case management systems like SmartAdvocate, Filevine, or Needles. Must be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Bonus: New York and/or New Jersey personal injury experience. Spanish fluency is required for the Northern New Jersey opening.
