Personal Injury Paralegal | Stealth Law Firm

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Stealth Law Firm, located in Edison, NJ. Stealth Law Firm is a well-established legal practice with a focus on active litigation. This position is vital for supporting attorneys and ensuring the efficient management of personal injury cases. The role directly contributes to positive client outcomes and the firm’s overall success in its litigation practice.

• Mission: This person will ensure effective management and progression of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Guide personal injury cases through every stage, from their initial filing and discovery to final resolution, working closely with supervising attorneys.
• Legal Drafting: Prepare and thoroughly review a range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and general legal correspondence.
• Information Coordination: Systematically gather, organize, and analyze all necessary documentation, such as detailed medical records, billing statements, and other pertinent case-related evidence.
• Client & External Communication: Act as a primary point of contact, facilitating clear and professional communication with clients, various medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
• Litigation Support: Actively contribute to pre-trial and trial phases by preparing demand packages, assisting with settlement negotiations, organizing exhibits, and preparing witnesses for courtroom proceedings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced professional demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge of personal injury law and legal processes.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of dedicated personal injury paralegal experience is required, alongside specific familiarity with New Jersey court procedures and essential filing requirements.
• Skills: Possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency in utilizing case management software, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and robust organizational skills necessary to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
