Personal Injury Paralegal | Stealth Law Firm

The Tone:
This is a key role for an experienced personal injury paralegal at a well-established law firm located in Edison, NJ. The firm maintains a busy and active litigation practice focused entirely on personal injury cases. This position is vital for providing comprehensive support to attorneys, ensuring efficient case progression from inception through final resolution. Your contributions will directly impact the firm’s capacity to manage a high volume of cases and deliver effective legal representation to clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Oversight: Actively assist attorneys in managing personal injury cases, guiding them from their initial inception through to resolution.
• Legal Document Production: Draft, review, and finalize a range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and professional correspondence.
• Information and Records Management: Systematically gather, organize, and analyze essential case documentation such as medical records, bills, and other pertinent information.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, communicating directly and professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
• Litigation & Administrative Support: Prepare demand packages, assist with settlement negotiations, support trial preparation, and meticulously calendar and track all critical deadlines, court dates, and statutes of limitations, while also maintaining organized case files using software.

The Must-Haves
• Background: You are an experienced personal injury paralegal, bringing strong domain knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes within a legal firm context.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of proven personal injury paralegal experience is required, demonstrating familiarity with New Jersey court procedures and specific filing requirements.
• Skills: Proficiency in utilizing case management software is essential, alongside a strong understanding of medical terminology for record analysis. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior organizational abilities, and the capacity to effectively manage a high-volume caseload.
