What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Portfolio Management: Manage a robust portfolio of plaintiff personal injury cases from initial intake through the pre-litigation lifecycle.
• Client & Provider Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing empathetic updates, coordinating medical treatment, and maintaining regular communication.
• Documentation & Claims: Request, track, and organize medical records, billing statements, and insurance policies, then set up and manage insurance claims, confirm coverage, and handle property damage, med-pay, and bodily injury claims.
• Medical Lien Negotiation: Review and negotiate medical liens with providers prior to case settlement.
• Demand Package Creation: Draft comprehensive, compelling demand packages for attorney review.
• Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings, discovery responses, motion preparation, and trial binder organization if a case moves out of pre-litigation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-level professional with dedicated experience as a Case Manager or Paralegal within a plaintiff personal injury law firm. This includes a deep understanding of the personal injury lifecycle, including medical terminology, various treatment modalities, and comprehensive knowledge of insurance coverages such as UM/UIM and third-party policies, as well as lien negotiation processes.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of direct experience specifically as a Case Manager or Paralegal within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm. Demonstrated proficiency with industry-specific personal injury case management software, including systems like Filevine, CASEpeer, or Clio, is essential, alongside expertise in standard office suites.
• Skills: Strong, professional communication skills are required, enabling effective interaction with high-profile clients and medical providers. The ability to manage a robust portfolio of files with exceptional organization, multitask efficiently, and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision is paramount. The ideal candidate will also exhibit a high level of energy and drive.
