Internship Description:

This internship will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the planning and execution of digital & performance marketing and communication strategies for Disney+. You’ll work closely with various functions, including Lifecycle, Data & Analytics, and the wider Brand Marketing team. The role will also expose you to core responsibilities around media strategy, media planning, and media buying for Disney streaming services, supporting local brand and acquisition marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

End-to-end performance marketing: Drive subscriber acquisition and growth through performance-focused campaigns on digital media and affiliate marketing channels. This includes ideation, media planning, optimization, performance analysis, and developing insights-driven action plans.
Growth and efficiency identification: Identify potential areas for growth, profitability, and efficiency improvements by applying strategic thinking, data, and analytics.
Learning new technologies: Gain experience with new tools and technologies surrounding creative automation and data dashboards.
Targeted marketing program execution: Develop and execute marketing programs that are highly targeted based on the content affinity of relevant segmented audience cohorts.
Campaign monitoring and optimization: Regularly monitor campaigns and performance across internal and external platforms to maintain consistent performance and identify optimization tactics.
Local media benchmark analysis: Conduct frequent analysis of best-performing ads and competitor activity in local markets, utilizing media agency sources and internal third-party applications.
Digital marketing efficiency: Drive digital marketing efficiencies and reach through continuous localized communication testing (A/B), innovation with different platforms and new products/formats, and creative adjustments and optimizations (language, format, etc.).
Publisher insights and audience targeting: Provide insights and recommendations on local publishers, opportunities, and tactics to target new audiences and optimize measurement metrics.
Cost optimization and subscriber acquisition: Deliver the most effective Cost of Acquisition (CPA) and expected Subscriber Volume. Additionally, optimize Cost per Reach/Engagement for awareness campaigns.
Agency management: Collaborate with agencies to execute best-in-class subscriber acquisition activities and media placements to build awareness.
Mobile and App optimization: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Mobile and App Install/Purchase lead (CPS-based) campaigns, as well as App-based third-party tools for optimization and data processing.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree/diploma in Marketing Communications, Communications, Media, Data and Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience creating digital ads (banners/videos) is a plus.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of MS Excel & PPT, Google Analytics.
• Exposure to data analysis and marketing dashboards.
• Digital Native with a sound understanding of trends across digital media.
