Job Summary:
As a CBRE People Operations Intern, the individual will provide Human Resources related customer service to the field. This service is expected to be friendly, collaborative, and invaluable. This role is part of the People Strategy and Operations function, which is responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.

Essential Duties:
• Provide excellent customer service to the account to regularly meet department goals and satisfaction levels.
• Assist with complex or sensitive case resolution, serving as a point of escalation as needed.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
• Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Follow all internal policies and regulations related to Employee Records Administration.
• Oversee the completion of internal and external audits.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Assist with data analysis tasks, including data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
• Oversee transactions related to onboarding of new employees, status changes for existing employees, and terminations of employees.
• Onboard new employees in the client and CBRE systems according to the standard account process.
• Respond to unemployment claim inquiries and background check adjudication requests.
• Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Compensation:
CBRE considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience.
Minimum Salary: $58,240 annually [or $28.00 hourly]
Maximum Salary: $56,160 annually [or $27.00 hourly]
