Compensation:

  • This position offers an attractive hourly rate of $24.00.
  • Interns are not eligible for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Junior Executive Intern, you will play an active role in the sales process and gain invaluable experience through a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Engaging in extensive sales training, encompassing fundamental skills such as pre-call planning, in-depth analysis, and professional presentation preparation to equip you for success.
  • Actively participating in weekly prospecting sessions to identify and engage potential new clients, contributing directly to pipeline generation.
  • Managing inbound phone calls from prospective companies expressing interest in discussing the comprehensive Paycom solution, serving as an initial point of contact.
  • Accurately creating and delivering customized quotes utilizing our internal database for qualified leads originating from potential clients.
  • Working collaboratively with your assigned office sales manager, intern program manager, and a team of experienced sales representatives to observe and learn from a deal’s progression through the entire sales cycle.
  • Diligently tracking all prospecting activities, leads generated, scheduled meetings, and daily tasks to maintain organized records and contribute to effective pipeline management.
  • Attending weekly professional development and sales training sessions designed to continuously enhance your skills and industry knowledge.
  • Undertaking travel to the local Paycom sales office and within the surrounding area for crucial in-person sales meetings, requiring reliable personal transportation.
