Title: Partnership Marketing Intern

Internship Session: Summer/Fall 2025: July 14th – December 12th, 2025

Location: Candidates residing in the following states are eligible to apply: AL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MS, NC, ND, NH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI, WY

Job Function:

USA Football is seeking a passionate individual interested in developing a career in sports sponsorships and corporate partnership activation. The intern will primarily assist the Sponsorship department, focusing on sponsorship activation, client service, new partnership prospecting, and proposal/recap development. This role involves collaborating with the consulting sales, events, high performance, education, and marketing departments.

A key opportunity for this intern will be creating a presentation to share with department leadership and product owners, potentially showcasing a new partnership proposal or a new partnership asset development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive presentation over the internship duration to share with internal directors and product owners.
• Assist with partnership activation and event execution.
• Identify prospective partners and update database information.
• Contribute to partnership proposals and recaps.
• Proofread, edit, and ensure quality of marketing materials.
• Conduct market research projects.
• Provide event promotion support, identifying free and paid promotion opportunities.
• Support relationships with NFL Clubs and other external partners.
• Research and ideate partnership opportunities.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements/Recommended Competencies:

• Sales, service, and marketing experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other software tools.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability.
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects with varying levels of importance.

Education:

Must be currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university, recently graduated from an accredited college or university, or currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited graduate school. Sports Management or related field of study preferred.
