Job Description: Partner Development Director, EY Americas
This role focuses on strengthening and expanding the collaboration between Snowflake and EY, a key System Integrator (SI) partner. The primary objective is to drive growth by fostering strong relationships and implementing effective Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies. This is a quota-carrying position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Go-to-Market: Develop comprehensive joint business plans with EY, collaborating on GTM strategies, defining target markets/industries, and creating joint industry solutions. Achieve partnership goals, including sales quotas and marketing activities.
• Practice Development: Guide EY in growing their Snowflake practice by evaluating their expertise, capabilities, and delivery quality. Develop certification growth plans, provide enablement support, and cultivate strong relationships with EY’s senior executives and decision-makers.
• Results-oriented Partner Management: Manage the alliance development lifecycle for EY, building and maintaining a 360-degree relationship. This requires strong self-initiative and a focus on building relationships.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams (product development, sales, sales engineering, professional services, legal, and marketing) to ensure a seamless partner and customer experience. Share feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with technical experts for solution building is also required.
• Co-Marketing Initiatives: Coordinate and execute co-marketing activities (events, webinars, content creation) to enhance partner brand visibility and generate leads.
• Deal Support: Assist EY in navigating Snowflake’s partner program and sales process, including deal registration, proposal support, reporting, and alignment with sales leadership.
• Deliver on Performance: Monitor partner performance against specific metrics, adapting priorities and demonstrating creative problem-solving to achieve key objectives.
Desired Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in partner management, strategic alliances, sales, marketing, or business development within the technology sector.
• 5+ years of channel sales or channel program management experience with revenue target accountability.
• Proven success and established relationships with Snowflake’s SIs, specifically experience with EY.
• Ability to manage regional business plans and track/articulate partner progress.
• Strong executive presence and polished communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments (preferred).
• Travel: 25-50% (variable).
Compensation:
The estimated base salary range is $214,000 – $306,200. The role also includes participation in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan and a competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k); flexible spending & health savings account; paid time off; parental leave; etc.).
