Job Description: Partner Development Director, EY Americas
This role focuses on strengthening and expanding the collaboration between Snowflake and EY, a key System Integrator (SI) partner. The primary objective is driving growth through joint customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Go-to-Market (GTM): Develop comprehensive joint business plans with EY, collaborating on GTM strategies, defining target markets/industries, and creating joint industry solutions. This is a quota-carrying position, requiring achievement of sales quotas and marketing activity goals.
• Practice Development: Foster EY’s Snowflake practice growth by evaluating their expertise, capabilities, and delivery quality, activating appropriate GTM programs. This includes defining certification growth plans, providing enablement support, and building strong relationships with senior EY executives.
• Results-oriented Partner Management: Manage the alliance development lifecycle with EY, building and owning a 360-degree relationship. Requires effective partner management skills and a self-starter mentality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (product development, sales, sales engineering, professional services, legal, and marketing) to ensure seamless partner and customer experiences. Share feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement. This includes working with technical experts on solution building.
• Co-Marketing Initiatives: Coordinate and execute co-marketing activities (events, webinars, content creation) to boost partner brand visibility and lead generation.
• Deal Support: Assist EY in navigating Snowflake’s partner program and sales process (deal registration, proposal support, reporting, and alignment with Sales Leadership).
• Performance Delivery: Monitor partner performance based on specific metrics, adapting priorities and thinking creatively to meet key criteria.
Desired Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in partner management, strategic alliances, sales, marketing, or business development within the technology sector.
• 5+ years of channel sales or channel program management experience with revenue target accountability.
• Proven success and established relationships with Snowflake’s SIs, specifically experience with EY.
• Ability to manage regional business plans and track/articulate partner progress.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments preferred.
• 25-50% travel required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated base salary range is $214,000 – $306,200, plus bonus and equity plan participation. A competitive benefits package is also offered, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k); flexible spending accounts; paid time off; and more.
