Job Description:
Reach Logistics is seeking a part-time HR Intern to support their HR team for 4-5 months. This on-site position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments. The intern will report to the HR Director and gain hands-on experience in various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• New Hire Orientation: Conduct engaging new hire orientation sessions, covering company information, policies, and ensuring a welcoming onboarding experience.
• Onboarding & Orientation Enhancement: Collaborate with the HR Director to improve existing onboarding processes and materials, offering suggestions and assisting in content creation and presentation updates.
• Employee Engagement Activities: Plan and execute employee engagement activities to boost morale and foster a positive workplace culture. This includes event planning, communication material creation, logistical coordination, and promoting initiatives.
• HR Support: Assist with daily HR tasks such as maintaining employee records, recruitment support, communicating updates to the warehouse team, supporting the HR Director on various projects, and providing general administrative assistance.
Qualifications:
• Current student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field at an accredited university.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Positive attitude and a passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and interacting with employees across various shifts.
