Job Description: Part-Time Dental Assistant

The company is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant who shares a strong passion for patient care and education, and is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for all.

Responsibilities:
• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists, which includes charting, patient education, and ensuring efficient operatory set-up and clean-up.
• Deliver a superior patient experience throughout all phases of their appointment, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
• Accurately take and process X-Rays in compliance with regulations.
• Precisely enter patient treatment plans and diligently maintain patient files.
• Execute all sterilization processes for equipment and operatories to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Educate patients effectively on the importance of their oral health and provide guidance on its best maintenance.

Qualifications:
Completion of a dental assisting program is required, along with any certification mandated by the State Dental Board.
• Possession of a Radiology certification that complies with the State Dental Board requirements.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and experience working with dental software; experience with Dentrix is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to partnering with all team members to foster a positive and collaborative environment.

Hourly Rate:
The hourly rate for this position is $20 – $22 USD.
