This is a full-time role at a small privately owned Real Estate investment and operating company. The company has grown organically over 18 years to manage over 2 Million Sq Ft by focusing on strategic investment opportunities. This Paralegal position is critical for supporting the company’s real estate operations, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining corporate governance as the organization continues its growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lease Management: Draft and update lease agreements and amendments using company templates.
• Document Management: Maintain a centralized repository for executed leases, amendments, and other legal documents.
• Compliance Oversight: Coordinate property and entity-level insurance policies, tracking coverage and renewal timelines for tenants and vendors.
• Corporate Administration: Coordinate the formation of new entities and maintain corporate records and compliance calendars.
• Transaction Support: Assist with legal due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions, and coordinate closings by communicating with relevant parties.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced Paralegal with a strong foundation in real estate, including an understanding of lease structures, insurance requirements, and entity management.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, with practical experience using document management software.
• Skills: Drafting and updating lease agreements, maintaining legal document repositories, coordinating insurance policies, managing corporate records, and conducting legal due diligence.
• Bonus: Prior law firm experience in real estate practice or a Notary Public commission.
