This Paralegal Professional role is essential for supporting the client’s Head of Tax and Management team, ensuring compliance and contributing to the company’s continued growth following a recent international merger within a global commodities trading organization. The position demands a legal professional with corporate governance experience who will draft legal documentation, maintain corporate records, and support compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide legal and administrative support to the Head of Tax and Management on corporate governance matters.
• Document Drafting: Draft, review, and maintain corporate legal documents, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, consents, and governance documentation.
• Record Management: Maintain corporate records, entity files, statutory books, and organizational documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Entity Management: Assist with domestic and international entity management, corporate filings, and governance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Transaction Support: Support merger, acquisition, and corporate restructuring activities by preparing legal documentation and maintaining transaction records.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
• Experience: 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably supporting corporate governance or an in-house legal department, including experience drafting corporate governance documents and maintaining corporate records.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills; strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Bonus: Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring initiatives; experience working within a global or multinational organization; exposure to commodities trading, energy, oil & gas, or other corporate business environments.
