What You’ll Actually Do
• Meeting Management: Prepare for and attend monthly Board of Director meetings, including drafting comprehensive minutes and agendas.
• Document Creation: Draft a variety of legal and regulatory documents, such as correspondence, agreements, and bond financing documentation for district assignments.
• Client Communication: Maintain consistent and effective communication with district consultants and other client representatives.
• Document Filing: Prepare and accurately file legal and regulatory documents with appropriate courts or online posting sites.
• Legal Support: Conduct thorough legal research and utilize specialized legal software to assist attorneys in meeting critical client deadlines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or certification in paralegal studies, with a strong foundation in legal document preparation, communication, and research.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of experience as a Paralegal, with proven experience in billing time.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; superior organizational skills and attention to detail; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
