The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Manage cases, which includes maintaining document control, calendaring docket deadlines, and coordinating and monitoring local counsel.
• Document Preparation & Review: Prepare and organize a variety of documents such as forms, charts, and letters, and review and produce documents as required.
• Litigation Support: Conduct thorough reviews and summaries of depositions and records, while also preparing for depositions and hearings.
• Expert & Discovery Coordination: Facilitate the retention of experts, provide them with necessary materials, coordinate deadlines for expert reports and depositions, and draft discovery documents and form pleadings/motions.
• Record Keeping & Trial Assistance: Request and organize records, maintain client records, assist with e-filing, and support trials by organizing trial documents and exhibits.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Demonstrated paralegal experience in practice areas such as insurance defense, toxic tort, premise liability, product liability, and transportation.
• Experience: 3-5 years of paralegal experience.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, demonstrated initiative and self-direction, and proficiency in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
