This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient progression of cases in labor, employment, and commercial litigation, providing essential support from discovery through trial preparation. The individual in this position will play a key role in maintaining organized case files and supporting legal teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Management: Review and prepare document productions, ensuring all materials are accurately organized for legal proceedings.
• Litigation Support: Prepare materials for use at depositions and provide comprehensive support for trial preparation and execution.
• Motion Drafting: Draft motions, supporting memorandums, and exhibits for submission to various courts.
• Discovery Management: Draft discovery requests, including interrogatories and requests for production, and prepare responses to interrogatories.
• Pleading and Deadline Tracking: Track and ensure the timely filing of pleadings with both Federal and State Courts, while also calculating and managing critical deadlines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Paralegal Certificate from an accredited and approved paralegal education program, with familiarity in Labor, Employment, and Commercial Litigation.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in Civil Litigation is required.
• Skills: Demonstrate a strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures, excellent computer proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel, and MS Office (including Outlook), and exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Skills: Exhibit outstanding organizational abilities, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude.
