Contract Paralegal | KNAPP North America
The Tone:
This is a Contract role at KNAPP North America, located in Kennesaw, GA, with two remote days per week. KNAPP is a global provider of intelligent automation solutions for intralogistics and manufacturing, creating new technology for warehouse automation including automated order picking systems, container handling, and advanced software solutions. This role is essential for assisting the Legal Team, Executive Team, and external General Counsel, providing critical legal support to ensure the efficient coordination and management of contracts and legal documents within a growing office.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure timely completion of external legal tasks by monitoring progress assigned to external General Counsel and providing updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate thorough internal review of contracts by managing document distribution, performing quality checks on required clauses, completing contract summary sheets, and coordinating stakeholder meetings for real-time editing and action item recording.
• Gather essential departmental information, such as tax matrices and IT/Data Security reviews, from internal teams and manage response timelines for efficient process completion.
• Oversee contract revision cycles by providing redlines to all parties, arranging document review meetings, recording action items, coordinating follow-up, and executing the final approval and signature processes using Docusign or other platforms.
• Prepare and edit draft legal documents such as notice letters, information requests, general correspondence, and written reports, while also providing administrative assistance to the Legal Team for documents and filings as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Certificate program in paralegal studies.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience working in a medium or large law firm or corporate environment.
• Skills: Proven experience preparing legal documents, understanding legal language and terminology, strong proofreading and editing skills, relevant computer proficiency, and domain knowledge in supply chain, construction, technology, or software contracts.
