What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management Support: Assist attorneys in the preparation and organization of comprehensive immigration case files.
• Document Drafting: Draft and format various legal documents, including petitions, applications, and their supporting materials.
• Filing & Deadlines: Manage critical deadlines and coordinate all necessary filings with relevant agencies and courts.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal and factual research to support immigration matters and case strategy.
• Client Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, gathering information, providing status updates, and coordinating documentation.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate case records within the firm’s established systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification, with strong foundational knowledge in U.S. immigration law.
• Experience: Proficiency with common office software and case management systems.
• Skills: Legal document preparation, excellent communication skills, advanced research abilities, attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with immigration filing platforms; prior experience in an immigration or law firm environment.
