Paralegal II | Edward Jones

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Edward Jones, located in Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO, with a hybrid work model. Edward Jones is a Fortune 500 financial services firm with over 9 million clients and 20,000 financial advisors, known for being privately-owned and client-focused. This role is a critical partner within the Legal Response Team, managing legal requests and inquiries to protect the firm, its clients, and associates. By supporting complex litigation and regulatory matters, this position contributes to the firm’s purpose of making a positive impact.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Hybrid, Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO

• Team: Legal Response Team
• Mission: Manages legal requests, court orders, litigation matters, and regulatory inquiries, helping protect the firm, its clients, and its associates.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Review: Independently analyze and respond to complex third-party subpoenas and other legal requests, providing guidance on court orders.
• Manage: Lead eDiscovery activities, including data collection, analysis, review, tagging, and production for litigation and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate: Partner with in-house attorneys, legal professionals, outside counsel, and external stakeholders to support ongoing legal matters.
• Research: Conduct legal research, review state statutes, court rules, and procedural requirements, then draft and interpret legal documents.
• Improve: Identify potential issues, assess risk, recommend solutions, and train team members on legal processes, technology, and best practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with 11–14 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, customer experience, customer strategy, or growth-focused roles.
• Experience: 10+ years in marketing, customer experience, customer strategy, or growth-focused roles, with proven success developing and executing marketing strategies and leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
• Skills: Strong business acumen, analytical skills, ability to leverage data and insights to inform strategic decisions, and knowledge of integrated marketing, customer journeys, segmentation, and multi-channel marketing strategies.
• Bonus: Financial services, wealth management, or advisor-facing experience, deep understanding of advisor practices and client engagement, and experience leveraging AI, automation, or marketing technology.
