• Team: Floater supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation
• Mission: Train for an eventual move to a highly sought Litigation Paralegal position
• Tech Stack: Computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Shadowing: Shadow Litigation Paralegals to learn about the role and responsibilities.
• Information Gathering: Gather and analyze relevant information pertaining to injury claims.
• Case Investigation: Investigate the nature and facts of various legal cases.
• Document Drafting: Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents for court filing.
• Settlement Preparation: Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or in a general support role.
• Skills: Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude; strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills; extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to type no less than 35 words per minute; willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within the organization.
