Paralegal | Global X ETFs

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Global X ETFs, located in New York, NY with hybrid flexibility. Global X is a leader in thematic investing, providing a wide range of ETF strategies. The Legal team drives the company’s product innovation, and this role is critical in supporting various legal operations. The Paralegal will act as a key operational partner, managing regulatory filings, legal projects, and governance activities within a collaborative and evolving environment.

• Mission: This person ensures timely and accurate legal compliance, documentation, and operational support for ETF products and broader legal initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support ETF launches and maintenance: Manage the preparation, review, and version control of SEC and state regulatory filings, including annual registration statement updates, and oversee the end-to-end EDGAR filing process.
• Facilitate regulatory compliance: Coordinate responses to SEC comments, assist with filings such as Forms 13F, 13G, and 13H, and manage filing calendars, schedules, and status reports to ensure timely submissions.
• Administer international agreements and corporate governance: Organize and maintain international selling agreements, prepare board materials, resolutions, and fund governance documentation.
• Support legal operations and projects: Contribute to process improvement initiatives like template standardization and workflow enhancements, and assist with employment-related matters and litigation support.
• Manage contracts and documentation: Conduct preliminary review of NDAs, organize and maintain executed agreements, and coordinate signature collection for legal documents.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree. Core domain knowledge of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), open-end mutual funds, and/or closed-end funds.
• Experience: 3–5 years of paralegal experience within a law firm or in-house legal team. Familiarity with SEC filing processes and document management practices.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, professional judgment and discretion, and the capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively.
• Bonus: A Paralegal Certificate.
