This paralegal position is essential for supporting attorneys in complex employment litigation, with a specific focus on PAGA matters. The role involves preparing for upcoming cases, conducting detailed fact-finding, and actively contributing to critical case strategy. What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Legal Arguments: Partner with attorneys to develop legal arguments, draft motions, and prepare key case filings.
• Conduct Research: Perform in-depth research and analyze case materials to formulate litigation strategy.
• Manage Discovery: Draft and manage all phases of discovery, including Requests for Production, Interrogatories, and Requests for Admissions.
• Prepare for Trials/Arbitrations: Prepare trial and arbitration binders, organize exhibits, and support attorneys with deposition preparation.
• Handle Document Production: Review, manage, and process document productions, including redaction and Bates stamping.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Paralegal certification from recognized organizations such as American Bar Association, National Association of Legal Assistants, or American Alliance of Paralegals, coupled with core domain knowledge in Employment Litigation, specifically PAGA matters.
• Experience: At least 3 years of dedicated Employment Litigation experience, including direct involvement in PAGA matters, along with demonstrated proficiency in legal technology platforms such as NetDocuments and Westlaw.
• Skills:
• Communication: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills for effective legal collaboration.
• Organization & Multitasking: Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a sharp eye for detail and the capacity to analyze complex legal documents with accuracy.
• Proactive & Deadline-Oriented: Maintain a proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines consistently while fostering a positive, team-focused attitude.
