Paralegal | Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an organization dedicated to comprehensive cancer care and research. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role within the General Counsel & Compliance Department, providing essential legal support to attorneys. This position ensures the efficient management of agreements, projects, and legal documentation, directly contributing to the center’s operational and compliance integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide paralegal assistance and support to attorneys.
• Agreements: Assist attorneys with the preparation and management of various agreements.
• Projects: Offer paralegal support for legal projects undertaken by the department.
• Documents: Manage legal documents efficiently, including organization and maintenance.
• Preparation: Prepare a range of legal documents as directed by attorneys.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in any field OR an Associate’s degree, from an accredited school, college or university.
• Experience: A Bachelor’s degree requires the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in a business or law firm setting; an Associate’s degree requires the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a business or law firm setting.
• Skills: Legal document preparation, legal project support, agreement assistance, and document management.
• Bonus: Experience drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts; working in a healthcare, academic, or government entity; other relevant drafting experience; familiarity with privacy and security rules and regulations; performing work related to observational or clinical research; licensing or other intellectual property related work; and working within a contract management system.
