The Tone:

This paralegal role is crucial for supporting attorneys in complex litigation by ensuring precision, compliance, and efficient management of legal documentation and case processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Attorney Support: Provide direct paralegal support to multiple partners and associates on complex litigation cases, specifically in antitrust, securities, and consumer class actions.
• Document Review: Meticulously proofread, fact-check, and cite-check all legal documents, including briefs, motions, and complaints, conforming to BlueBook rules.
• Filing & Service: Finalize, file, and serve legal documents electronically in federal and state courts across the country, researching and adhering to specific court procedural rules.
• Case Management: Handle an assigned caseload, ensuring familiarity with each case, monitoring upcoming deadlines, and assisting attorneys with discovery processes.
• Procedural Expertise: Determine and prepare necessary paperwork for `pro hac vice` procedures in various courts where complaints are filed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, and graduation from an ABA-approved paralegal program or an institutionally accredited 60-semester hour paralegal course of study. Experience with complex litigation and plaintiff firms is required.
• Experience: 3 years minimum of relevant paralegal experience. Demonstrated experience with e-filing in federal and state courts, and proficiency with the SharePoint document management system.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of BlueBook citation procedures; superior proofreading, editorial, and advanced grammar skills; considerable knowledge of technical legal terminology, processes, and procedures.
• Bonus: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize high-volume work; self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
