This Litigation Paralegal position is a critical asset, directly supporting attorneys and playing a pivotal role in the lifecycle of civil litigation cases, from managing client communications and discovery to comprehensive court filing and trial preparation, ensuring legal processes are meticulously handled.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drafting: Draft a variety of legal pleadings and court filings with precision and adherence to procedural rules.
• Communication: Manage extensive and sensitive communication channels with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout their cases.
• Discovery: Prepare detailed discovery requests and responses, accurately gathering and presenting crucial information for litigation.
• Coordination: Coordinate directly with judges, court staff, and opposing counsel to schedule hearings, depositions, and manage case logistics.
• Case Intake: Work closely with investigators and attorneys to manage the entire intake process, including tracking potential cases, rejecting unsuitable ones, and facilitating client sign-ups.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with prior experience specifically within a personal injury law office and general civil litigation.
• Experience: Possess 5+ years of hands-on civil litigation experience, specifically including the preparation of motions, drafting and responding to discovery, thorough record review, managing scheduling logistics, proficient e-filing procedures, comprehensive hearing and trial preparation, and meticulous file and calendar management.
• Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in legal calendaring systems; exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions; maintain strong client relations and interpersonal abilities; uphold a highly organized approach with keen attention to detail; and be technology savvy and proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Word.
