Corporate Paralegal | Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, located in-person. The company is a fast-growing restaurant organization supporting three well-known brands operating across multiple states. This role is crucial for an energetic, detail-oriented, and highly organized Paralegal to directly support the success of our restaurants and corporate operations. It offers a variety of work for someone who takes initiative and wants to grow within a collaborative organization.

• Team: Collaborates with executive leadership, HR, operations, and outside counsel.
• Mission: To manage a variety of legal, compliance, and business matters that directly support the success of multiple restaurant brands and corporate operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, document management systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contract Management: Draft, review, organize, and manage a variety of contracts, vendor agreements, leases, legal documents, and corporate records for the organization.
• HR & Employment Legal Support: Support all employment and HR-related matters, including documenting employee relations, tracking compliance, assisting with investigations, and administering policies.
• Operational Legal & Compliance: Partner with operations and leadership teams to manage legal and compliance needs across multiple restaurant brands and locations.
• Outside Counsel Coordination: Coordinate effectively with outside counsel regarding litigation, labor matters, franchise issues, licensing, and other specialized legal projects.
• Legal Research & Administration: Conduct legal and regulatory research for restaurant operations, track important deadlines and compliance requirements, and assist with insurance claims, permits, and licensing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, maintain strong organizational skills, and communicate effectively with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Bonus: Paralegal certification, Notary Public certification, or experience supporting restaurant, hospitality, retail, franchise, or multi-unit operations.
