Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Paralegal to join their team in McMinnville, Oregon. This is an onsite position requiring a professional and ambitious individual with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal and in Legal Support. The Paralegal will work closely with leadership and attorneys to prepare legal documentation and provide pivotal support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Works collaboratively with assigned attorneys and support staff in preparing legal documentation and/or processing transactions.
• Manage licenses and review contracts.
• Drafts legal documents including but not limited to discovery motions, summary judgment motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters.
• Performs legal research and analysis manually and on computers; compiles, analyzes, and summarizes data.
• Manages cases and files; organizes and maintains files.
• Performs factual and technical investigation and analysis of case issues.
• Monitors legal fees, budgets, and project status.
• Provides general logistical help and supports the maintenance of legal files.
• Assists in the development and implementation of office systems and procedures as needed.
• Assists with special projects as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Paralegal Certification
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
Compensation:
• Salary: $70k-$80k/year (DOE – Depending on Experience).
