Paralegal | Fontainebleau Las Vegas

This role is crucial for supporting the legal department’s operations, providing essential legal, regulatory, and administrative assistance. The Paralegal protects the company’s assets and minimizes risk and liability by stewarding litigation and managing contracts effectively.

• Mission: Supports the legal department by managing contracts and litigation, protecting company assets and minimizing risk.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Litigation Management: Assist with the management of litigation, pre-litigation matters, investigations, and subpoenas, including organizing files and tracking deadlines.
• Contract Administration: Oversee the contract intake process, administer the contract management system, draft and review various agreements, and liaise with stakeholders on executed contracts.
• Regulatory & Legal Support: Provide comprehensive legal, regulatory, and administrative support across a broad range of matters, ensuring compliance and timely action.
• Legal Operations Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of legal operations and record retention practices within the department.
• Legal Drafting & Research: Draft routine legal filings and documents, prepare contract abstracts, and conduct legal research as required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Foundational education with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: One (1) year of experience in contract administration or litigation management within a large-scale complex organization.
• Skills: Demonstrated professional communication across all business levels, ability to work independently, capacity to identify and communicate creative solutions, and advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
