What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Assist in case preparation, including drafting subpoenas, motions, and notices for legal proceedings.
• Communicate: Maintain ongoing communication with complainants and witnesses throughout the case preparation process to keep them informed.
• Coordinate: Coordinate witness availability and appearance for trial to ensure their timely participation in court.
• Research: Conduct legal research as requested to support the prosecution’s case strategies and arguments.
• Ensure Continuity: Provide consistent and professional contact with complainants and witnesses to ensure continuity in case support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate of Applied Science degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required; foundational knowledge gained through paralegal studies is expected.
• Skills: Legal document drafting, witness coordination, legal research, professional communication, case preparation support.
