• Mission: Owns supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation to achieve exceptional outcomes for clients who have experienced workplace injustices.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Caseload Management: Manage a litigation caseload from its inception through resolution, ensuring all aspects are progressing efficiently.
• Document Drafting: Draft and proofread various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and mediation briefs.
• Discovery Coordination: Prepare and respond to written discovery requests, such as interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Court Filings: Coordinate and prepare filings in California state and federal courts, utilizing electronic filing systems to meet deadlines.
• Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys with comprehensive trial preparation, including organizing exhibit binders, witness files, and trial notebooks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience, with comprehensive knowledge of California state and federal court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines.
• Experience: Proven experience drafting discovery, pleadings, and litigation documents, with a track record of supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities; strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.
• Bonus: Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple active cases, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to client confidentiality.
