What You’ll Actually Do
• Streamline Data: Maintain and streamline case data with well-structured discovery and records organizational charts to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct Research: Conduct vital research by issuing Open Public Records Requests and performing background investigations to support litigation strategy.
• Support Litigation: Support attorneys during depositions and discovery by summarizing transcripts, managing key documents, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Manage Productions: Manage document productions efficiently by reviewing, analyzing, and organizing files from opposing parties and co-defendants.
• Organize Files: Keep case files impeccably organized and accessible, ensuring a smooth workflow for attorneys and litigation teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: At least two years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Skills: Exceptional writing and communication abilities; strong organizational and detail-oriented skills; sophisticated technical proficiency, including legal research tools and case management software; proven ability to draft subpoenas and maintain detailed records of received documents.
• Bonus: Paralegal Certificate; prior experience in insurance defense.
